I received my new Eizo CG19 yesterday and am really looking forward to getting it connected and operating with my G5. This monitor replaces my Sony Artisan which can no longer be calibrated. I’m a tiny bit confused by the “before connecting” instructions to change the display screen settings before connecting the monitor to the PC with the added note of "when your computer and display support VESA DDC, the suitable resolution and refresh rate are set by just plugging your display into the computer without any manual settings.
Can anyone tell me how I can tell if my computer and display support VESA DDC?
