Pulse ColorElite vs. eye-One Photo for printer profiles?

Any feedback on the Pulse ColorElite versus eye-One Photo package would be appreciated.

I’m interested in comparisons between these two devices in terms of the quality of profiles made for Epson printers, especially the 2200/2100.

I’m only interested in printer profiling: I already have the Monaco Optix for monitor profiling, & have no need for scanner or projector profiling.

The Pulse is attractively priced compared to the eye-One, but I’m interested in the best quality printer profiles, especially for Epson printers in ‘No Color Adjustment’ mode and using Relative Colorimetric rendering intent for actual prints.

Thanks in anticipation for any feedback/reports,

Alan

Thanks, Rick.

Any reports of the Pulse with Epson printers would be very welcome as well.

Rick:

A question about this review.

It mentions for the eyeOne,

Is this larger patch set (presumably the TC9.18 target) usable with eyeOne Match? Or is it only usable with ProfileMaker Pro?

TIA for clarification

Alan

Alan;

Yes, the 2-page Eye-One Match target is the TC9.18 target.
